The Auto-Complete feature is well known to all Outlook users, you begin to enter the recipient’s E-Mail address and like magic a list appears with similar addresses. Sometimes, however, this may get annoying. Below is an example of this list, just to give you an idea of what it is that I am talking about.
Now imagine how annoying this might be for you if you have more than just one relevant mail receipient. Luckily this feature can be disabled if you prefer the good old fashioned manual-labour ways.
In Outlook, select the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Options’.
From the Options dialogue, select ‘E-Mail Options’.
From the E-Mail Options window, select ‘Advanced E-Mail Options’, as seen below.
In the resulting window (Close to the bottom of the dialogue), uncheck the ‘Suggest names while completing To, CC and BCC fields’. And click OK.
OK out of the remaining windows till the point that you are back in Outlook itself. Again, this is an extremely simple thing to do if the suggestions are not your cup of tea.
